Ms. Carrie Mcvey
Chenega Corporation
988 Johnson Street
Chapel Hill, NC 27514
Dear Ms. Carrie Mcvey,
The advertisement with Chenega Corporation for an Armed Security Guard caught my eye and I have a real interest in applying for this position.
I am a retired police offer seeking a part-time position such as this one, so I can continue to serve the community and make a difference and I hope that you will consider me as a top candidate for this opening. Due to my past occupation, I have the skills and training that you seek including the ability to work odd shifts, operate radios and interact with the public.
I can direct the visitors that enter the facility in the right direction and deal with any violators in a professional and responsible manner. I have a good eye for detail with the ability to spot things that are out of place. This can help to prevent many incidents from ever occurring.
I have extensive knowledge of firearms and the training to know how to react during a crisis while helping others to stay calm to minimize injuries. I am physically fit enough to patrol the facility and to monitor the premises to keep all unauthorized persons out of the building.
I have knowledge of emergency equipment and I know how to check to make sure everything is working properly. I also have a basic knowledge of computers and the ability to keep accurate reports.
You can reach me by calling (111)-367- xxxx and I hope to hear from you soon. I am sure that I am the right person for this position.
Sincerely,
Kevin Wedge
